Delicious Vinyl is proud to announce the release of “The Throwaway” — the new single by Yancey Boys featuring Frank Nitt, produced by the late great J Dilla.
A digital-only release, “The Throwaway” is the initial offering from from what J Dilla Music Catalogue Curator Frank Nitt has dubbed ‘The Lost Scrolls’ — previously unreleased productions from the considerable body of work Dilla left behind. This particular premium production has been laced with new verses and hooks from Illa J (Dilla’s younger brother) and Frank Nitt (Frank & Dank)

A new single from Nas surfaced today on the blog for Hot 97 DJ Funkmaster Flex (via Nah Right). The track features production by late hip-hop icon Heavy D, who Nas says “gave this beat to [co-producer Salam Remi] for me to rap to.” Production duo Da Internz (Ludacris, Big Sean, Rihanna) also worked on the track.

More from Azealia. This girl is talented and rising up fast.
This is pretty great:
An audio supercut of every time the Wu-Tang Clan shouts itself out—by its collective name or individually—across the group’s five studio albums. Lastowka spent “a few hours” putting together the clip, and he came to this conclusion, which might not surprise you: “They say Wu-Tang a lot. It peaks with 36 Chambers, still gets brought up a lot on Forever, and sort of trickles out by the last two. I guess they really wanted to establish who they were. Note that I tried not to include repeated hooks like on ‘Wu-Tang Clan Ain’t Nuthing to F With’ or ‘High as Wu-Tang Get’ just because they sounded repetitive, and there were still plenty without them.”

I thought this was a brilliant album. Excellent production, as always, from the OutKast camp. Great guest spot by Jay-Z.
Run & Hide- Jay Electronica Ft. The Bullitts
Are you listening closely….?
(Jay Electronica):
Sentimental rain drops
The tears fall in increments
Like incremental pain drops
That wash away the stained spots
The Western World is just a hive of Scum and Villainy
That’s why Superheroes wear disguises in trilogies.
When the future is uncertain,
And the wizard is just a man inside the booth behind the curtain
Behaving like a serpent
With a bag full of everything,
Except your home,
Just remember, be yourself,
And accept your own,
Or Run & Hide…
